Continuing education has been a lifework for Dan Matthews as he strives to provide the highest quality of dental care to his patients. Having accumulated over 700 hours of postgraduate education, he attained Fellowship status in the American Academy of General Dentistry, an organization of general dentists dedicated to professional development and continuing their education. A dentist who is a ‘Fellow’ in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) has a minimum of 500 approved continuing education credits and has passed a comprehensive examination.
He is also a member of the Alumni Association of the L.D. Pankey Institute which is widely considered the premier and most prestigious center for advanced dental education. The Institute empowers and educates dentists in how to successfully practice individualized, comprehensive dentistry by sharpening and fine-tuning their interpersonal, clinical and management skills.
