This Veteran’s day, let’s take a moment to thank the members of our armed forces for all that they’ve done for us– both abroad and back in the states! Take Dr. Robert Kasper, for instance. As a veteran of World War II, Dr. Kasper flew in the Air Corps (before there was an air force!) and came back to the States to become a dentist.
Dr. Kasper, like many of the veterans who came back to start their lives in peacetime America, was looking for an occupation that would let him show initiative and give back to the community. Of Dentistry, he says “You’re your own boss. That appealed to me.” Owning his own dental practice in Detroit from graduating college until retiring in 1984, we can see that Dr. Kasper truly enjoyed the dental health profession!
